  The Utilities Billing Office provides several convenient options for paying your utility bill. You can pay your bill online at Online Services. You can also choose to automatically debit your bank account, mail the payment to P.O. Box 3439, Sarasota, FL 34230-3439, or pay in person at the Utility Billing Office located at 1761 12th Street in Sarasota. Business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday excluding holidays.

Q. Who handles garbage collection and recycling services in the city?

  Emergency numbers regarding traffic signals and street repairs services along with water and sewer repairs can be found at www.sarasotagov.com. In addition to these numbers, this website also provides phone numbers for other public services that run Monday through Friday from 8 until 5.

City Hall offices are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The building is located at 1565 First Street in Sarasota. You can also reach city offices by telephone at 941-365-2200, or use the City at Your Service online contact system at www.sarasotagov.com.


Q. Who do I contact about holding a special event in Sarasota?
  The Deputy City Manager's office handles permits for special events in the city. Contact the office at 941-954-4102. The office is located at City Hall.

  The public can view the access 19 television to stay updated on the latest information regarding the commission, public hearings, emergency coverage, bulletins, and more.

  Parking tickets can be paid at the Parking Collections in the Police Department lobby area or by mail (no cash). Payment can be a personal check (made to the City of Sarasota), money order, or cash (if paying in person). For more information contact the department at 941-954-7022.
