The
Financial Records and Reporting Division is responsible for
accurate accounting of financial transactions and reporting
of financial data for the City. The division is responsible
for providing accounting internal controls and working in cooperation
with the external and internal auditors.
This
division maintains records for all city-owned fixed assets,
and also plans and directs the annual physical inventory of
fixed assets as required by the Auditor General of the State
of Florida.
The
Financial Records and Reporting Division prepares the City's
Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). This report
is available to citizens, City Commissioners, City departments,
Federal and State governments, employees, vendors, creditors
