ST. ARMANDS SPECIAL BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT (BID) BOARD OF DIRECTORS GUIDELINES

Establishment: Ordinance No. 02-4382

Board Membership – Qualifications and Other Requirements:

a) The business and affairs of the District shall be conducted and administered by a Board of three Directors who are subject to ad valorem taxation within the District either personally or through a beneficial ownership in an entity which is subject to ad valorem taxation in the District.

b) The Directors shall not receive compensation for their service nor may they be employed by the District.

c) Directors shall be appointed for a three year term. Each Director shall hold office until his or her successor is appointed and qualified.

d) Vacancies on the Board of Directors shall be filled for the unexpired portion of a term by appointment made by a majority of the City Commission.

e) The Board consists of three members.

f) The Board meets the second Tuesday of each month at 8:30 am in Conference Room 109 at City Hall.

Meetings: Meetings occur on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 8:30 am.
