The City Commission of the City of Sarasota is seeking individuals willing to serve on the following Advisory Boards:

Board of Rules and Appeals
Six seats with the following requirements:

- One seat - licensed mechanical contractor (Currently vacant)
- One seat - licensed fire alarm contractor (Currently vacant)
- One seat - licensed electrical contractor (Currently vacant)
- One seat - licensed engineer (current member not eligible for re-appointment)
- One seat - licensed plumbing contractor (current member not eligible for re-appointment)
- One seat - Consumer Representative (Currently vacant)

Citizens Oversight Committee of the Interlocal Agreement for Public School Facility Planning
One seat for City Resident (current member is eligible for re-appointment)

Civil Service/General Personnel Board
- One seat no requirement (current member is eligible for re-appointment)

Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Advisory Board (these seats expire in July 2013)
Three seats with the following requirements:

- Individual involved in planning or design in the redevelopment area (current member is eligible for re-appointment)
- Representative of the Economic Development Council (current member is eligible for re-appointment)
- Individual involved in Finance and Banking (current member is eligible for re-appointment)

General Employees Pension Fund Board of Trustees
One seat for city resident (currently vacant)

Historic Preservation Board
One seat with the following requirements:

- Architect (current member is eligible for re-appointment)

Housing Authority (expires in July 2013)
- One seat with no requirement (current member is eligible for re-appointment)

Nuisance Abatement Board
Two seats with no requirement (currently vacant)

Planning Board/Local Planning Agency
- One seat with no requirement
