The City of Sarasota and the Sarasota Office of Housing and Community Development received a $23 million grant from HUD for neighborhood stabilization programs which will include jobs creation. A ceremonial check presentation took place at Janie’s Garden in North Sarasota. In attendance were City Commissioners, Sarasota County Commissioners, Housing Authority Board Members and members of the community devoted to making North Sarasota a vibrant place to live and work.
