The entrance to North Lido Beach Park is undergoing a major facelift. More than a dozen cabbage palm trees were planted Fri., August 21, 2009. Soon, thousands of plants will be placed there as well. The City of Sarasota and Sarasota County have worked together to remove non-native invasive species from the area and create a more inviting park.
