NEW OPERATING HOURS FOR
THE CHILDREN’S FOUNTAIN

Sarasota, FL: Due to budget constraints, the City of Sarasota is adjusting the daily operating hours for the Children’s Fountain at Bayfront Park. Beginning May 27, 2008 the Children’s Fountain will be open noon to 7:00p.m., weather permitting. Historically, the summer hours began at 10:00a.m. Use of the fountain during normal hours is free of charge.

Additionally, patrons may now reserve the Children’s Fountain for private outings before regular public hours. The cost for exclusive use of the Children’s Fountain is $75.00 for up to two hours, for up to 20 children. Each additional child is $2.00 and adults are free.
