CITY HALL CLOSES
FOR LABOR DAY

Sarasota, FL: City of Sarasota administration offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 1, 2008 in observance of Labor Day. The closing includes City Hall, the Federal Building and Public Works, although solid waste and recycling collection will not be impacted.

Labor Day has been celebrated in the United States since the 1880s, and traditionally signifies the end of summer.
