| Sarasota, FL: City of Sarasota administration offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 6, 2010, in observance of Labor Day. The closing affects City Hall, the Federal Building and Public Works. The Regular City Commission meeting will be held Tues., Sept. 7, 2010 beginning at 2:30 p.m.
Residents are reminded that effective Sept. 1, 2010, the City of Sarasota changes from twice-a-week pick up to once-a-week. However, solid waste and recycling collection will not be impacted on Labor Day. Visit sarasotagreencity.com for more information.
