CITY HOSTS SECOND
TEEN DANCE PARTY

Sarasota, FL: The City of Sarasota’s first teen dance party was such a hit, the City will host another party Fri., December 21, 2007 8pm – midnight at the Municipal Auditorium, 801 N. Tamiami Trail. All high school students are welcome to attend. School identification or a school progress report must be provided for admittance.

The first teen dance party, held last month, was quite successful with more than 200 teenagers attending. “The students who attended the event enjoyed the music and the great dance floor,” said Debbie Perez, the Municipal Auditorium Manager, and teen dance party visionary. “Do to the excitement and great responses we received from the community and students, almost immediately we planned a second dance party. We thought it would be a great opportunity for the students to kick off their winter break,” said Perez.

DJ Chino will return to play the hottest music from hip-hop to reggaeton. The Municipal Auditorium will be transformed into a dance club atmosphere with fog machines, hazers and pulsating disco lights. “This party will be another great one,” said Perez. “The kids will be happy to have an alternative again to going to the mall, movies or parking lots.”

Admission is $15 at the door and includes soft drinks and snacks. The first 50 students will be admitted for free. The highlight of the evening will be a dance competition. Prizes will be awarded.

Security will be provided by the Sarasota Police Department.
