CITY MANAGER SEARCH NARROWS

Sarasota - The search for a City Manager has narrowed to six finalists:

Robert Bartolotta
Daniel Fitzpatrick
Patrick Salerno
Marsha Segal-George
Susan Stanton
• Terry Zerkle


The City Commission unanimously accepted the list of candidates this morning from Tom Freijo, Senior Vice President of The Mercer Group.

The six finalists will have one-on-one interviews with each of the five City Commissioners Tues., May 29th beginning at 8am. The finalists will then attend a social meet-and-greet later that afternoon at 5:30pm – 7:30pm at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. The public is invited to attend the social.

The following day, Wed., May 30th, each of the candidates will interview separately with the full City Commission for 50 minutes beginning at 8am in the City Commission Chambers. Each candidate will also interview with the Charter Officials, the Citizens’ Committee and the City Department Heads. It is expected the City Commission will re-convene later in the afternoon and select their top candidate around 3pm.
