FL: In preparation for potentially high winds associated
with Tropical Storm Bonnie, the fence surrounding the Five
Points roundabout construction project in downtown has been
temporarily removed. Pedestrians and motorists should not
enter the construction area and use caution in the vicinity.
The fence, which is weighted down with sandbags and could
topple in strong winds, will be erected once again Monday,
July 26.
The Five Points roundabout is being built
where Main Street,  Central
Avenue and Pineapple Avenue converge. It is expected to be
completed by Labor Day on Monday, September 7, 2010. Downtown
businesses are open during the construction.
