COMMUNITY INVITED TO ED SMITH STADIUM MEETING

Sarasota, FL: Residents are invited to attend a community meeting to learn more about the proposed sports complex renovation, including a new baseball stadium and proposed improvements to the youth athletic complex. The meeting will take place Thurs., December 7, 2006 at 5:30pm at Faith Presbyterian Church, within the worship center auditorium, located at 1201 N. Beneva Rd.

City of Sarasota staff members will make a presentation providing details of the proposal, as well as an update on what has transpired. The City will also discuss establishing a neighborhood task force to represent nearby residents, businesses and other stakeholders as the proposed development moves forward.

Public comment will be welcomed.
