CITY OFFICES CLOSE FOR HOLIDAYS;
GARBAGE PICKUP CHANGES
Sarasota - City of Sarasota offices will
be closed Fri., December 22 and Mon., December 25, 2006
as well as Mon., January 1, 2007 in observance of Christmas
Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
There will be changes to the solid waste collection schedule
on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
There will be no solid waste, recycling, yard waste or
bulk waste collection on Mon., December 25th. Solid waste
will be serviced on the next scheduled pickup day, Thurs.,
December 28th. Recycling, yard waste and bulk waste will
be collected Sat., December 23rd.
Also, there will be no solid waste, recycling, yard waste
or bulk waste collection Mon., January 1st. Solid waste
will be serviced on the next scheduled pickup day, Thurs.,
January 4th. Recycling, yard waste and bulk waste will
be collected Sat., December 30th.
