IMPROVEMENTS SLATED FOR
MAIN STREET AND U.S. 41

Sarasota, FL: A road improvement project at the intersection of Main Street and
U. S. 41 will begin Mon., September 24, 2007 and finish approximately 75 days later in early December. No lanes will be closed on U.S. 41 during peak drive times.

The project will include drainage improvements, paving and striping the road, additional signalization and the addition of designated left turn lanes. There will be no lane closures on U.S. 41 between the hours of 7am and 8pm; however, drivers should expect delays.
