DATE SET FOR
PALM AVENUE DECISION
Sarasota, FL: The Community Redevelopment
Agency (CRA) has rescheduled the date and time it will
select a developer for the redevelopment of city owned
property fronting Palm Avenue. The selection will be made
during a special CRA meeting Fri., March 23, 2007 from
1pm – 5pm in the Commission Chambers within City
Hall, located at 1565 First Street. |
On Thurs., February 22, 2007, the Community Redevelopment
Agency Advisory Board (CRAAB) ranked four developers for
the proposed project in the following order:
1. Benderson Development Company
2. Florida Main Street LLC
3. Roskamp & Patterson
4. John Buck Company & The Leiter Group

During the special CRA meeting, the CRA
will hear public input, discuss the CRAAB’s recommendation,
and decide which proposer will redevelop the city owned
property on Palm Avenue. |
