DISCUSSION CONTINUES
Sarasota, FL: The City of Sarasota will host its fifth public forum about paid on-street parking Thurs., May 7, 2009 8:30am – 10am in the Commission Chambers located in City Hall, 1565 First Street. The public is encouraged to participate.
This meeting will focus on three issues: implementation techniques for paid on-street parking (eg: ambassador training; free warning tickets); advertising and marketing; and the Request For Proposal (RFP) process for procurement of pay stations/meters.
The discussion groups are meeting monthly to talk about moving toward paid on-street parking in downtown Sarasota.
