COMPLEX DESIGN DISCUSSED
Sarasota, FL: Residents are invited to
review and comment on the latest master plan design concept
for the new Robert L. Taylor Community Complex Thurs., December
4, 2008 at 6 p.m. at the current community center, 1845
34th Street.
This meeting will include a formal presentation
and update by the Ohlson Lavoie Architectural Firm. City

the existing pool condition as well as how the 2009 summer
pool program will operate when construction on the new facility
begins.
This is an opportunity for all residents
to view and discuss design concepts for their new community
recreation facility, which was developed following input
from previous community meetings. The new facility will
be a multi-generational operation encouraging people of
all ages to recreate together.
One of the City Commission’s top
five priorities for the 2008-09 fiscal year once again is
Newton, including issues such as community redevelopment
and economic development. The new Robert L. Taylor Community
Complex is expected to quickly become a neighborhood asset
and focal point for the local area to generate strong community
outreach.
