CITY HOSTS REDS RALLY

Sarasota - The City of Sarasota will host a fun filled fan rally welcoming the Cincinnati Reds back to Sarasota for spring training baseball, Sat., February 24, 2007 11:30am – 1pm at Selby Five Points Park in downtown Sarasota. The 10th annual Reds Rally is free and open to the public.

The Cincinnati Reds team will be there, including players and coaches. The public will have the opportunity to meet the Reds, plus there will be an autograph session, so fans are encouraged to bring their baseballs and gloves. Reds merchandise, food and beverages will be available at the rally. There also will be a free drawing for autographed baseballs.

The Joe Bruno’s Dixieland Hot Dogs, music by Bruno Connection, will perform again this year. The Sarasota Military Academy will present the Colors and sing our National Anthem. This free event is sponsored by the Reds, City of Sarasota and Fifth/Third Bank.
