HOST KIDS CLINIC

Sarasota, FL: The City of Sarasota is pleased to announce the 11th annual Kids and Coaches Sports Clinic will be held Sat., February 23, 2008 1:30pm – 3pm at Ed Smith Stadium, 2700 12th Street. Children ages 6 through 18 are invited to attend and receive major league instruction from Cincinnati Reds players and coaches. The clinic is free.

Children will be divided into two age groups for this popular clinic. Participants should bring their gloves and cleats for fielding, catching and throwing demonstrations. Autographed baseballs will be raffled. There also will be an autograph opportunity with Reds players and coaches.

The clinic is sponsored by the Cincinnati Reds, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, the Sarasota Sports Committee and Patrick’s Restaurant.
