SARASOTA POLICE TO
HOLD GUN BUY BACK

Sarasota, FL: The City of Sarasota Police Dept. will hold a “Gun Buy Back” Saturday, September 8, 2007, from 9:00 a. m. to 5:00 p. m. The “Gun Buy Back” will be held at the Newtown Police Substation, 1782 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way.

The “Gun Buy Back” is open to City of Sarasota residents only with free gun locks and free gift certificates being given away. Gun safety information will also be available.

Handguns, shotguns as well as assault rifles and other illegal firearms will be bought back. Guns must be in working condition and unloaded.
