FL: Teens and parents throughout the greater Tampa Bay region
will kick off the 3rd Annual Greatness Beyond Measure Teen
Summit, Friday, July 30, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. at the Ringling
College of Art & Design with youth oriented fun and festivities.
The three day event is open to youngsters 12 to 19-years-old.
There is a $5 registration fee. Sarasota’s own Chris
Eisenberg, a top 50 finalist on the popular television program
“America’s Got Talent”, will help kick off
the summit Friday night at Ulla Searing Exhibition Hall.
“Greatness Beyond Measure” is
designed to empower teens by involving them with panel discussions
and workshops. This year’s summit will feature interactive
workshops about career success, self-defense, hip hop and
tips on how to make it through life drama-free. The summit
also will include an appearance by television personality
and author Fonzworth Bentley, a teen idol singing competition,
basketball game, and family cookout. For a schedule of events
