TOWN HALL MEETING
DISCUSSES STIMULUS PACKAGE

Sarasota, FL:  The Newtown Front Porch Neighborhood Revitalization Council, Inc., in conjunction with the Sarasota County Branch, NAACP will host a town hall meeting Thursday, April 9, 2009 at the Robert L. Taylor Complex (The Rec) at 1845 34th Street from 6pm – 8pm to discuss the impacts of President Obama’s Stimulus Package/The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act in the community.

Guest speakers will include representatives from U.S. Senator Bill Nelson’s office, Department of Housing and Urban Development, Department of Transportation, SunCoast Workforce Board, Sarasota County Government, City of Sarasota City Manager Robert Bartolotta, Small Business Administration and the Governor’s Office. 

The town hall meeting will be an opportunity for the community to learn how the funds from Stimulus Package will be distributed to the local community.
