Experience:
• Mr. Clapp has been a resident of Sarasota since 2001. He has served the Sarasota community as President of Indian Beach Sapphire Shores Association, President of the Coalition of City Neighborhood Associations, Vice Chair of the Tamiami Trail Scenic Highway Committee, member of the Janie Poe/Public Housing Task Force, steering committee member of Save Our Sarasota and SAVE Riverview.
• Currently serves as City Commissioner District 2, Board Member TBARTA, Board Member Florida League of Cities, President of the Manasota League of Cities, Board member of the Resurrection House, Served 2 years as MPO Board Member representing Sarasota, Commissioner Clapp has also attended several Florida Conferences on Beach Preservation.
