The Clerk Activities Division manages the Citys vehicle-for-hire program which includes the licensing of companies, inspection of vehicles, licensing of drivers, reviewing the criminal history and driving records annually. The intent of the program is to assure the public's safety when engaging a public vehicle-for-hire. Vehicles-for-hire include: Taxis, Limousines, and other For-Hire Cars, Low-speed Vehicles and Pedicabs.
