While several elements of the project are complete there are some enhancements being done in 2012 to improve pedestrian safety. Starting January 9, 2012 changes to the brick pavement near First Watch and Plaza Five Points with occur. This work will not involve lane closures, but sections of the sidewalk will be closed. There will be intermittent lane stoppage for delivery of materials and equipment. All the work is scheduled to be completed prior to January 27, 2012.
