Michael
Del Rossi, Public Service Engineer, Public Works, was hired
on September 6, 2006 and immediately rolled up his sleeves
to assist in several City projects. His eye for detail allows
him to take a task and run with it. Mike has great initiative
and often has great ideas to share with others to make the
project better, cost efficient and completed on time.
Mike has great customer service skills and can work with a
variety of contractors and staff members. He has been able
to schedule and organize the work and communicate all areas
of each project. With the re-organization of the engineering
Department and Public Works, Mike made sure that his team
was well informed. He continues a weekly capital project manager’s
staff meeting for the Streets & Highway staff, Traffic
& Electrical unite and included the Fleet divisions.
Currently, he is working on the American Public works Association
Accreditiation process.
Continuing

has been with the City, he has been promoted and holds the
current position of Public Services Manager, P.E. He holds
a license with the Florida Board of Professional Engineers,
has completed the Community Emergency Response Team Training
to become a member of the President’s Citizen Corps,
and has met the requiremments for the Florida Department of

His co-workers agree that he is an exceptional employee to
work with, gets the job done every time and shares his technical

and pride!
