Tina
Riggle, Code Compliance Tech Inspector, NDS, has been with
the City of Sarasota since 2006. She began her career with
the City as a Parking Enforcement Specialist. Right from the
beginning Tina had the right attitude and continues to be
a quick learner.
After a brief period, serving SPD, Tina made the decision
to apply for a Code Compliance Tech Inspector position with
the Building Department. She showed an eagerness to learn
and became a great asset in the Code Compliance Division.
Tina obtained a Level I Code Certification and has the initiative
to continue course work to complete Level II.
The City of Sarasota has extensive code regulations and guidelines.
Tina’s diligence in learning the responsibility necessary
to her job is paying off.
She is assisting her department with the Newtown/New Day log
book to concentrate inspections in the north area of Sarasota.
The City has dedicated itself to improve and promote the Newtown
district and Tina plays a big part. She not only understands
her responsibilities, but is dedicated to ownership towards
the improvements in the north Sarasota zone.
Tina is almost always the first in line to volunteer when
asked. As events are scheduled during the calendar year, you
can always hear Tina asking where she can help out. She works
extremely well with her supervisors, co-workers and other
department employees.
Tina Riggle serves the City of Sarasota with excellence and
