The
City of Sarasota Municipal Handbook is designed to acquaint
City of Sarasota employees with the City, its Human Resources
Program, employee benefits and Equal Opportunity Policy. The
complete statement of these subjects are set forth in the provisions
of the City Charter and in the Citys Rules and Regulations
as approved by the City Commission.
Since changes in Human Resources policies and procedures occur
periodically, the information herein should be used as a general
guide.
The policies described in this Handbook are not conditions of
employment, and the language is not intended to create a contract
between the City of Sarasota and its employees.
The purpose of this Handbook is to communicate general information
to the City of Sarasota employees.
