Non-Retaliation Policy

The City feels that it is important to receive complete and accurate information; therefore, we encourage employees to bring matters of concern to the attention of the City administration.

These matters should be brought to the attention of your supervisor, or you may use the regular grievance procedures without fear of retaliation. The Department of Human Resources can offer you advice on how best to resolve these matters of concern.

Employees can bring up legitimate problems free of retaliation. Also, employees are encouraged to assist or participate in any manner in an investigation, proceeding or hearing.
