Mission
To strive to be the preferred venue for a variety of events
to include antique shows, arts and crafts shows, banquets, computer
shows, flea markets, gem shows and much more for Sarasota and
neighboring cities.

Goals/Purpose
To achieve economic vitality through the promotion of the
Auditorium as a rental facility and the continuation of events
sponsored by the City of Sarasota. Additionally, the auditorium
staff is responsible for maintaining this historical landmark,
which is located at the north entryway to the City of Sarasota.

Service
Provided
The
Municipal Auditorium staff is accountable for many diversified
responsibilities relating to the leasing of the facility and
promoting of City sponsored events. The administrative staff
handles technical, supervisory, and administrative functions
in connection with facility operations. The operations staff
is responsible for janitorial/maintenance, event preparation,
and overseeing events in progress. |
