Actions:
- Community Redevelopment
Agency (CRA) Advisory Board authorizes prospective developer(s)
to submIT proposals for project.
- City Staff and Special
Legal Counsel, David E. Cardwell, meet with developer(s)
to review Proposals. No negotiations.
- City Staff determines if
proposed project: (I) complies with zoning and land use
requirements; (ii) complies with comprehensive plan;and
(iii) furthers the redevelopment plan.
- Developer(s) make presentation
to the CRA Advisory Board. City Staff reports findings of
initial review and any recommendations. CRA Advisory Board
authorizes negotiations with developer(s). Developer(s)
pays an initial fee of $5,000.00.
- Draft term sheet or status
report is presented to the CRA Advisory Board. If term sheet
is approved by the CRA Advisory Board, then the CRA Advisory
Board will authorize preparation and negotiation of development
agreement. Developer pays a fee of $5,000.00 to proceed.
- Development Agreement presented
to the CRA Advisory Board. If approved, the agreement is
forwarded to CRA Governing Board with recommendation for
approval. (Developer may be subject to additional fees.)
- CRA Governing Board considers
development agreement.
