The LMR is currently comprised
of the Business Improvement District, the St. Armands Residents
Association and the St. Armands Circle
Association.
The LMR gathers together
to ensure fair and equitable use, development and quality of life
on the Circle. The goal
of the group is to work together to reach common goals in the
Circle. The LMR includes three representatives from the St. Armands
Circle
Association, three from the Business Improvement District
and four
from the St. Armands Residents Association. Alternates are
designated for each organization. These are listed on the roster
and updated
annually. The meetings are open to the public and are held
in City Hall room 109 once a month on Thursdays at 8:30 AM. However,
it
is requested that only representatives designated from each
of
the three member groups speak or present at meeting times
unless prior arrangements have been made. There will be a ten-minute
open period for public input via sign in at the beginning of
each
meeting.
The City of Sarasota may provide a liaison for the LMR if
the representatives of the group request or require such facilitation.
Decisions that
affect the Circle will be made by consensus. If the three
organizations
that comprise the LMR are in agreement the motion can be
presented to the City staff or City commission as an LMR initiative.
