	ENVIRO-LINKS is maintained to provide links to WEB sites that might be of interest to those who are looking for information on environmental matters. This inventory is by no means exhaustive, but is intended merely to offer a starting point.
	The United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) Home Page provides access to a wealth of information including projects, programs and databases for specific pollution related areas such as the Toxic Release Inventory, and Superfund Sites. Databases are available for Search by ZIP Code.
	From the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Home Page information more specific to our state is available. Among the many divisions of the Department that you may find interesting are: Recreation and Parks, Water Resource Management, and Waste Management. A Quarterly Performance Report listing activities of the Department including enforcement actions is also available. The Petroleum Cleanup Program has been very active in recent years as all underground fuel storage tanks were required to be upgraded. Finally, there is an index of Database Reports
	Regionally, the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) regulates water use in our area. They are also very instrumental in developing and disseminating water conservation information.
	The Florida Center for Environmental Studies coordinates the activities of ten state universities and four major private universities.
