DESCRIPTION |

Annual
Resurfacing |
This
project removes and replaces approximately 1-1/2" of
asphalt within the roadway. Thus no grade changes will occur
at your driveway approach when completed. Generally, a typical
street will have the asphalt removed and new asphalt installed
within 5 days. Construction notices via door hangers are placed
at the residences 3 to 5 days prior to the start of construction.
This project does not include correcting existing drainage
prolems. However staff will make field adjustments to improve
minor damage/puddle issues. For more information please call

St.
Armands Bulb Out |
Two
bulb outs have been completed. The remaining two bulb outs
will be constructed to complete the improved pedestrian access
through St. Armands Circle. The new amenities include brick
paved crosswalks, Florida friendly plant material and mulch,
accented up-lights for future sculptures, benches and waste
receptacles. For

Payne
Park |
The
Payne Park Phase I construction is complete. For more information

Fruitville
Road Landscaping |
New
landscape materials will be installed in the medians from Lime
Avenue east to the City Limits at McIntosh Road. Therw will
be a wide variety of Florida friendly trees, palms, shrubs,
groundcovers and turf installed. For more information please

Centennial
Park Parking Area Project |
This
project will maximize the available space for additional boat
trailer parking spaces and provide overflow passenger car parking
on the adjacent site to the north. For information please contact

Saprito
Pier Rehabilitation Construction |
The
pier will be temporarily closed for structural repairs and maintenance
improvements from October 22, 2007 and reopen on February 18,
2008. The deck of the pier will be replaced with new pop out
panels, which are designed to easily dislodge with storm surge.
