Private Providers
It shall be the policy of the City of Sarasota's
Building Department that when choosing the option to use private
providers for the plan review and inspections, the owner will
be required to have the provider
do both plan review and inspections. The Building Department will
not be doing one and the private provider the other. Please read
House Bill 1307 carefully as to what the Building Department will
still be able to do even when private providers will be utilized.

and signed by the Governor on 05/30/2002, thereby changing a number
