Get Energy Smart Loan Retrofit Loan Program

The Get Energy Smart Retrofit Loan Program has temporarily been placed on hold. All loans received to date will be processed. If you have any questions or would like to be placed on a waiting list, please contact Connie Godet at 941-951-3640 ext 3774. Ms. Godet will require your name, address, and telephone number to be placed on the list. We will contact applicants on the waiting list in the order they are received.

We encourage all applicants on the waiting list to gather the required information so when they are contacted an application can be sent to them.

Initial required documents:
1. Loan application
2. Copy of valid picture IDs and social security cards for all household members;
3. Your Home Energy Audit from FP&L;
4. Proof of Income /Signed Tax Returns
5. Proposal for Work
6. Verification of Mortgage (if applicable)

An FP&L Home Energy Audit can be obtained by calling 1-800-342-5375. Please tell FP&L that you would like to schedule an in-home survey and duct test to be done at the same time. This test should cost $30 and will be added to your electric bill.
