Sarasota County is offering a 3.07% interest deferred payment loan to pay for capacity and connection fees and associated costs for hooking up to Sarasota County's central water and/or sewer services when mandated under Sarasota County code, Section 126-58. Repayment is not required until the property is sold, transferred, no longer owner-occupied, or 20 years. An existing homeowner seeking water and/or sewer hookup assistance for their primary residence cannot exceed $200,000. If the property has an accessory dwelling, the value may not exceed $240,000.
