Density Bonus Study

for Affordable / Attainable Housing

 

On November 7, 2005, the Sarasota City Commission directed City Planning staff to create and process a comprehensive plan amendment to establish a "density bonus" foundation for the provision of attainable housing within the existing Downtown Urban Mixed-Use land use classification as well as for other areas under study for possibly receiving this classification based upon the recommendations in the City's Evaluation and Appraisal Report.
