How You Can Participate in the City EAR

• Even though the open houses are completed, you may still offer your comments to Planning staff via e-mail, fax or telephone.
  
  
• Invite Planning and Redevelopment Department staff to give a presentation to your club, neighborhood association or other organization.
  
  
• Call the Planning and Redevelopment Department at (941) 954-4195 and give your thoughts and comments on the telephone.
  
  
• Print and complete a comment form and send via fax (941-954-4179), or mail it to the Planning and Redevelopment Department.
  
  
• Print a copy of the upcoming EAR Schedule and share it with your friends and neighbors.
  
  
• Send a letter to the Planning and Redevelopment Department.
  
  
• Review and Comment on the Goals in the City Plan on topics that interest you.
  
  
• Submit your comments to the Planning and Redevelopment Department.
  
  
• Present oral and written comment to the Planning Board and the City Commission during their public hearings.
  
  
• Ask to have your name and address added to the E.A.R. Mailing List so you can be informed about upcoming meetings, hearings and other events.
