| On April 16, 2005, the City surveyed residents and landowners of the Laurel Park area to determined what direction to take regarding the Future Land Use Map for that location. The Laurel Park area was delineated into two neighborhood areas which are identified on the map below. Area No. 1 is the formal boundary of the Laurel Park Neighborhood Association and Area No. 2 is the area located between Brother Geenen Way/Alderman Street and Mound Street (US 41). | ||||

The City administered the survey using both pictures representing different types of land uses and statements for participants to consider. Participants were asked to rate each picture and statement from -3 to +3 in order to assess their opinions about future development in the Laurel Park area. Two surveys were administered - one for each area. The pictures were identical in the surveys for both areas, however, statements were unique to each area. The results from the land use surveys are located in the table below. |
