About this Study

In April 2001 the City Commission approved a contract with a consultant team lead by EDAW Inc. to provide consultant services for the Parks + Connectivity Master Plan. Leon Younger and Pros, and Hoyt Architects were sub-consultants to EDAW for this project. The study builds on the Downtown Master Plan. IT focuses on parks and connectivity throughout the City.

	Issues Matrix List of issues raised regarding the draft plan along with recommendations from EDAW; the City's Project Team; the Planning Board; and the Parks, Recreation & Environmental Protection Advisory Board. The City Commission provided its direction regarding each issue in the matrix. Following City Commission action on this direction, EDAW prepared a final master that was the subject of a public hearing prior to adoption by the City Commission.			Parks + Connectivity Master Plan
