are links to copies of the official City of Sarasota Zoning Maps. The
official zoning maps have as their base, the official City Plat Map(s)
containing, subdivision blocks & lots. Copies of these maps are
provided on the website for informational purposes only. Please check
with the Building,
Zoning & Code Compliance Department for any questions you may
have concerning interpretations of the Zoning Map or zoning
regulations.
Viewing these maps on-line will require that you have a copy of the
free Acrobat
Reader installed. The Acrobat Reader will not only allow you to
view the zoning maps, but will allow you to zoom in on the maps and
pan around for clear and detailed viewing.
In order to find the area of the City you are looking for, you will need to view and click-on one of the sub-areas of the City (Quarter-Sections) found on two index maps. The maps, found below, divide the City approximately in half. The northern half of the City encompasses maps from Fruitville Road north (including the very northern portion of the barrier islands). The southern half of the City encompasses maps from Fruitville Road south (including the majority of the barrier islands). If you know which quarter-section of the City you would like to view, see the quick pick list toward the bottom of this page. Address maps are also available on-line.
Planning Department will update these on-line maps as rezonings are approved. However, as noted above, please be aware that you should confirm the information found on these maps.
