Ringling Roundabouts Project

The intersections of Palm Avenue and Pineapple Avenue are being converted into Modern Roundabouts. Construction will begin on Monday 11-28-2011. The 1st week of construction will include project information signage, maintenance of traffic signs, barricades, directional signage, message boards, and business identification signage.

Cross Street will be converted from a 1 way street into a 2 way street. The eastbound side of Ringling Boulevard will be closed between Orange Avenue and U.S. 41. for Demolition. Business access will not be interrupted on Ringling Boulevard east of Pineapple Avenue. The entrance to the State Street Parking Lot will be closed on Ringling Boulevard. The westbound side of Ringling Boulevard between Orange Avenue and U.S.41 will be converted into a 2 way road. The access to Palm Avenue will be closed between Ringling Boulevard and U.S. 41. The access to Palm Avenue between Ringling Boulevard and Main Street will remain open. South Gulfstream Avenue access to Ringling Boulevard will be closed during demolition.
