	PURPOSE: The Street and Highway Maintenance Division of the City of Sarasota Department of Public Works plans, develops and implements programs for the maintenance, renewal, improvement and repair of streets, highways, bridges, traffic signals and street lights to ensure the safety of our motoring residents and visitors.
